How to promote posts on LinkedIn during war

We are now in the midst of an existential war for the lives of the entire Jewish people, no less than that.

The propaganda war on the home front is no less important than the war on the front.

Just yesterday we witnessed how reckless Hamas is and uses the killing of Gaza residents in order to manipulate the world and accuse Israel of killing civilians it itself caused. All of this, in order to put pressure on the UN and the entire world to support Hamas, which brutally carried out murderous terrorist activity and committed acts that are unfathomable to human understanding.

In light of all this, we are witnessing a sharp decrease in exposure to pro-Israel posts on all social media, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok and Twitter. It can be said that if the leaders of these companies were really interested in standing by Israel in these difficult times, they would be able to influence public opinion in the world. But unfortunately, reality is different and proves to us time and time again, and this time more than ever, that if we are not united and strong for our people in this difficult hour, no one will be there for us.

If we think that the US standing by us is enough, then we are making a bitter mistake. You don’t have to go far to see that public opinion is not doing us any favors and even those who met with the Prime Minister before the events, Elon Musk, are not taking significant action to eradicate Hamas activity online – see link to the article or those who insert words like “conflict” into their dangerous condemnation message that supports both sides. There is no connection between the conflict, the genocide and the punishments that Hamas perpetrated on us on that Black Sabbath.

The clear goal of Hamas at the moment is to erode Israeli activity and prevent the IDF from entering Gaza by ground. All this, when we have over 200 abductees in the Gaza Strip – civilians, women, children, babies, elderly, teenagers and soldiers. Those civilians and soldiers we must return home quickly and it will be difficult for us to do so, if public opinion is not on the right side.

The propaganda war and global public opinion are just as important as the war on the front. And we have the moral and civic duty to do everything we can to enlist in this propaganda war and take part in it – all of us as one.

So I have prepared a series of questions and answers for you on the subject of advocacy on the Internet, so that you will be able to generate higher exposure for your posts and influence public opinion in the world (the next part is written in the male voice for convenience, but addresses all genders).

So how do you join the propaganda war?

There are several ways in which you can join the Israeli advocacy. From joining relevant WhatsApp groups where valuable content that can be shared is uploaded to using the media channels available to us, when each of us becomes a “broadcast channel to the world” about what is happening in Israel.

The outreach does not have to be active at the level of uploading or sharing the content, you can also comment or like the posts to support the distribution of our members’ posts. On the other hand, if we want the outreach to reach the world, LinkedIn and TikTok are the best places to do it. However, while Tiktok is managed by China, which is part of the Russian-Iranian-Shiite axis and censors or lowers exposure to content from Israel; LinkedIn is still a place through which you can reach the global community.

LinkedIn’s algorithm, which works according to “crossing circles” of contacts and pushing the post to additional target audiences from abroad, makes it quite easy to reach with organic exposure to the whole world. Our goal should be to “take over the feed” of our contacts. When we reach a situation where enough people will respond or share the posts about the sights that come from Israel – the international community will be significantly exposed to the content.

So how do you do it? Share, comment and upload content.

Still, if I'm not interested in being active and uploading or sharing content but still want to contribute my part in the information war?

Three things can be done that will greatly contribute to the exposure of the posts even without being active at the level of uploading the posts or reposting them.
1. A comment on the post will give it a boost in terms of exposure.
2. Copying the link of the post and publishing it in the WhatsApp groups I am a member of.
3. Saving the post. When I save a post, no matter what platform, I’m basically telling its algorithm that there’s quality content here that’s worth pushing to more people. Therefore, even saving the post only, without commenting or sharing it, will help the post to move forward.

The amount of content has increased since the outbreak of the war, due to which there is a decrease in the exposure of all of us. What actions can I take to produce an increase in the exposure of the content I upload?

Now more than ever, when the amount of content on LinkedIn is breaking records due to the situation, as a result there is a decrease in the amount of exposures. Here are the actions that can be taken to increase the number of exposures:
1. We styled the content in a short and catchy way.

  1. Upload different types of content and not just video (which now circulates a lot) or photos.
  2. Use promotion groups to increase exposure on WhatsApp, Telegram and LinkedIn.

  1. Half an hour before you upload your content, engage with other people’s content in your feed.
  2. Half an hour after uploading your content, engage with other people’s content in your feed.
  3. Respond to every comment you receive on the post you uploaded.
  4. About 90 minutes after you have uploaded your content and after you have received the first boost of engagement with your content, it is important to promote it in additional WhatsApp or Telegram groups in order to show LinkedIn that this is content that generates long exposure and over time. This will cause your content to receive an additional boost and continue to generate exposures and receive interactions from the target audience.

Is LinkedIn a suitable network for uploading content about the situation in Israel?

Definitely not, but we have no choice. LinkedIn is not a political network and tries to keep itself as such. On the other hand, we are in critical days and we have no choice. On the second day of the war I wrote about it post LinkedIn and I stand behind it. LinkedIn is not a polite network, mistake.

This is the moment when every house in Israel must join the fight, in every possible way. The main distribution channel in my life is LinkedIn. This is my comfort zone and the place where I am strongest compared to other platforms and I use it extensively as part of my outreach activities – in every possible way.

This is not the right time to think, is it right or wrong to use LinkedIn. We are all ambassadors of Israel and we must all join the struggle. We don’t have another country even at the price of my followers dropping or LinkedIn dropping my posts, which has already happened since the outbreak of the war. I call on everyone to take an active part in the struggle and post about the situation in Israel. This is not the time to sink into silence.

How do I deal with anti-Israeli comments and is it even worth responding to them?

It is important to understand that the anti-Israel reactions will not disappear from the web, not even from LinkedIn. It’s not just about anti-Israeli reactions, these are also pro-Palestinian reactions that single us out as the aggressor, cruel and evil.

It is important to differentiate between reactions that encourage violence and terrorism that must be reported and pro-Palestinian reactions against Israel. The best way we have found to deal with the phenomenon is to simply let Chat GPT with a pro-Israeli Prompt twist, which is updated on all the other events of the murderous terrorist organization Hamas, answer these responses.

For this purpose, the RocketPod company has developed a free extension (a Chrome add-on) that does this for you. All you have to do is go to the following link and download the chrome extension. In the link itself you will see a video, just follow the instructions, install the plugin and you can respond to any post or response to a LinkedIn post with the click of a button. Please note, another click on Comment or Replay will offer you a different response and so on, until you find the response you are satisfied with.

My posts have been removed and my profile has been blocked, what should I do?

In conclusion, we all take part in the propaganda war. Whether we want it to or not.
Effective outreach is active outreach, but if you are not interested in taking part in it, you can support a variety of other ways that will help the post generate exposure and reach wider circles.

We must tell the world what we are dealing with and how cruel the enemy that is facing us is, so that he does not want to hurt his own citizens, if only because of the fact of false and false accusations about Israel’s involvement in the attacks. We must join the propaganda war and change the narrative. let’s do it together
